How does the garden look?

Rain in June -- unheadrd of! But we had a little bit of it with continuing cool temperatures and overcast, prompting some mildew on susceptible plants. As soon as the heat is here that'll clear up.

The lace-cap hydrangea has opened up with its mid-green leaves edged in silver, and the earliest of the fuchsias are beginning to bloom. Some of the roses are back for a second showing, among them 'Cardinal Hume', 'Monsieur Tillier', and 'Altissimo'. In the front garden the bouganvillia, now reaching the second story of our apartment, is particularly vibrant, and yellow lantana fill the border in front of hybrid tea roses.
